Our creative corner challenge blog

Hi, what gorgeous weather we are having in Bedford at the moment, feels like summer is back!!...havn't had much time for blogging this week, had lots of other things keeping me busy. But I was getting withdrawals yesterday and when I looked around on Mo Mannings gorgoeus blog, I just had to buy a couple of images. This card hopefully fulfills the challenge this week over on Our creative corner which is 'Happy fall y'all!'. This cute little fella playing with the autumn leaves caught my eye.....isn't he the cutest!! I coloured him with my Prisma markers, promarkers and polychromos, I am quite pleased with how he turned out to be honest. Scalloped card from craftwork cards, inked with memento 'sprout green', brads from stash.

Hopefully be back very soon with a challenge.
Have a good weekend

Birthday goodies

Hi just thought I would show you what goodies I got for my birthday today. It has been a lovely day with phone calls, text messages and people popping in and out with cards etc. Feeling slightly worse for wear as we had friends over for a chinese and drinks last night, more drinks than food I think though.....will I ever learn.

I think I am really lucky to have had these lovely pressies and some money to go crafty shopping with.

Have a good rest of Sunday

Stampin' up workshop

I went along to the card club I attend every other Tuesday in Bedford, it was the first one back after the summer hols, and Carol had arranged a workshop from a Stampin' Up demonstrator. I had heard of stampin' up from reading peoples blogs but had never seen any of there products. I had a fab evening with lots of giggles....(sticky flaps and such like...lol). Thanks Carol and I look forward to seeing more of these lovely products and wish you every success in your new venture.

Thought I would just show you what we made with the yummy stamps and inks. I love how everything co-ordinates.

Pink Elephant challenge week 30

Good afternoon hope everyone is well??
Its the last day of the school holidays for my son so have been busy getting all his new uniform ready. I remember when I was young, I used to love the first day of term, new uniform, shiny shoes and new bag and pencil case.....ah memories.....lol;-)
He is really quite excited, he laid his clothes out on his bed yesterday ready for tomorrow, bless him.
Anyway here is my card for the current Pink Elephant challenge which is a recipe, 1 ribbon, 2 squares and something sparkly.
I apologise as the papers and ribbon are the same as my previous blog entry, they were still out and I thought they went quite well for this card also.
Ingredients
Stamped Image; Mo Mannings 'not even a mouse' digital stamp
Colouring Medium; Prisma markers and Inksentails pen to highlight
Paper; Daisy and dandelion 'a winters tale' pack
Ribbon; from stash
Ps....My sparkly bit on the card is, I have glittered the whole card with crafters companion silver glitter spray, but its hard to see in the photos, but trust me it is there....honest.
