Charisma Cardz challenge 21

Hope everbody is having a peaceful Sunday, weather in Bedford is gorgeous again, could get used to this lovely weather.;-)

The challenge today on Charisma Cardz isGoing Dotty, dots, circles etc so here is my card for the challenge.

The materials I used are;

Papers and cardstock, Pink petticoat Little Fleurs, white cardstock embossed on cuttlebug with Fiskars 'Whimsy' Embossing plate. Circles cut with nesties on cuttlebug.

Image; Ollyfant clear stamp set from Kars, these are such lovely stamps and are such a bargain at only £6.50 for the set of 7 stamps. I do confess I have all 11 sets of these.....naughty me!!!! Coloured with Derwent aquatones and Koi water brush.

Sentiment from papermania (free on magazine).

2 sketches for you challenge 27


I love looking at this challenge blog, there are always some gorgeous cards on there by the Design team members. They are also giving away some amazing goodies for a prize, hop over to 2sketches4you.blogspot.com/ to take a look for yourselves.

Anyway here is my take on the sketch and the materials I used;

Image PC Crafter 'Country Mice' by Laurie Furnell ( i adore these images, they also com in black and white so you can colour yourself,but I am feeling lazy this week).- I 3'd the image with silicone glue.

Cardstock; K and Co, Brenda Walton Small Wonders

Circle and Scalloped square, cut on Cricut machine

Sentiment, stamped with papermania stamp free on magazine.

I decorated the insiode with the same papers.

Pink Elephant challenge 16

Hi, hope everyone had a good Bank Holiday weekend??...I did we had quite a productive weekend, getting lots of jobs indoors and outdoors ticked off of the 'to do list'. Makes you feel good to de-clutter and be productive.

The card today is for the Pink Elephant challenge 16, which this week is a sketch challenge by Robin Willis. My card hasn't got the sentiment going across the card, so I hope its ok?

There isn't any stamping on my card today, I couldn't resist these cute little fellas, they are from PC Crafter and you can get loads and loads of clip art and some of them including this set of images 'Country Mice' by Laurie Furnell, also come as sketched images for you to colour yourself. You should take a look over there, there are some gorgeous images.

Apart from that, my 2 sons girlfriends are both expecting babies this year, so this card may come in handy.;-)

Charisma Cardz challenge 20


Hi, what a gorgeous Saturday we are having, hope it is lovely where you are too!!!

The challenge today is for the Charisma Cardz challenge blog which this week asks for Flowers, Lace and pearls.
I had real fun making this card, and actually dreamt the colour combination...(how sad is that...lol).

The materials I used.
Cardstock; papermania scalloped card and plain black card
Image; Gorguss girls coloured with polychromos and blended with sansador.
Embellishments; Flowers cut with woodware punch,
Mcgill pine punch, lace and silk flowers from stash.
Adhesive pearls; papermania.

I really enjoyed making this card. Have a lovely day.

The Pink Elephant challenge 15


This is my entry for the Pink Elephant challenge which this week is for 'Monograms', I cant believe i am entering it on the actual day....wonders will never cease. Mind you I wont be blogging tomorrow as I have all my children and 2 of their partners over for dinner tomorrow night as my son is 20, so I will be very busy!!

Anyway here are the materials I used for this challenge;

Papers; K & Co Hannah papers and chipboard shapes
Circles cut with cuttlebug and nestabilities
Flowers cut with woodware punch and McGill fern punch
Adhesive flowers
Insert from Bearly mine Designer Extreme inserts

Anyway I'm off to cook our dinner now.

Just magnolia sketch challenge 5


Hi, hope everyone is having a good Monday??....its mixed weather here today, a little sunny and then clouding over every so often...hope its nice wherever you are...

My card today is for the Just Magnolia sketch challenge 5, I just adore the magnolia images. Here are a list of the materials I used.

Creative card crew challenge 10

Hope everyone is having a peaceful crafty Sunday. We went out for a nice lunch to Pizza Express, it was so yummy!! It was so nice not to have to cook.


Anyway here is my entry for the Creative Card Crew challenge 10 which this week is 'Minimal', I hope this suffices the requirements.

Card; 6 x 6 run through my cuttlebug with Fiskars 'dots' embossing plate.
Circles; cut on cuttlebug with nestabilities and doodled dots with white gel pen
Image; Penny Black coloured with Polychromos and blended with sansador, stamped twice and kind of decoupaged
Ribbon from stash
I also added a co-ordinating insert from Bearly Mine Designer Extreme Inserts, these are so lovely.

Double blog challenge

Hi, its a miserable dark, wet day here in Bedford, never mind more reason to stay in and do some lovely crafting...;-).

Today I am entering this card for 2 challenges, the first is Sketches by Tamara, which is the first time I have entered this challenge (but I'm sure this won't be the last) and the next is the lovely Pink Elephant challenge, which this week asks for Light blue, medium or Dark Blue, Green and White.

The materials I have used

Papers; K and Co (from a box from QVC ages ago)
Image; Free on this months creativity magazine, stamped with Encore metallic
Ribbon and brads from stash.

Friday Sketchers challenge 51

Hi, hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday, the sun has been shining down on Bedford today, its been glorious. The card I have made today is for the Friday Sketchers challenge, who incidentally are celebrating their first anniversary on their blog, so pop over and do the challenge as they have some lovely prizes up for grabs.

I also decorated the inside of the card today.

Charisma Cardz challenge 18

Hi, havn't blogged much this week, had a few migraines on and off since Tuesday so havn't been very busy card making or blogging. Anyhow here is my play on this weeks sketch challenge by Vee on Charisma Cardz blog.
The materials I used were:

Paper; Basic grey Euphoria (I think...lol)
Embossed card; Doodlebug (bought this before I got my lovely green machine).
Scalloped circle cut on Cricut using papermania card
Butterfly layers cut on Cricut using papermania card
Border from papermania scalloped card and then punched with crop-o-dile, (thought it looked a bit like MS Threading water punch...I must get one of those...)
Pink card candy from craftwork cards
Adhesive pearls from papermania
Sentiment stamped from Erica Martin masculine set.

I really enjoyed making this card, hope you like it too.

Stamps and Smiles Project Tuesday challenge blog

Hi, Its Bank Holiday here in the Uk so hope everyone has a good Monday. I stumbled across this challenge blog whilst blog hopping and they have some wonderful creations on here, Project Tuesday challenge blog. Its nice to make something a bit different other than a standard card, a little more of a challenge I think. Here is my take of the challenge and I really enjoyed making it. Hope you like it too.;-)
