Pink Elephant challenge

Happy Friday everyone, my favourite day of the week to be honest.

My card today is for the Pink Elephant challenge which is a sketch, I love following sketches, makes it so easy.

Penny Black Saturday

Wow I am being a very good blogger this week, 4 days in a row.....lets see how long we can keep it up...;-)

Well the sun did manage to come out yesterday and it was glorious here in Bedford, in fact at lunchtime hubbie and I went out on our bikes into town to do a few chores and then cycled along the embankment which was beautiful and then through Priory Marina, (stopping for a light snack and a drink) before cycling home, it was so lovely!!

Anyway my card for today is for the Penny Black challenge blog which this week is a sketch designed by Carole. I always look at this challenge but do not very often take part, I think that should change.

Just Magnolia challenge

Happy Mother's day to everybody, hope you are all relaxing and maybe having some time to yourself doing some yummy crafting.

My card today is for the Just Magnolia challenge blo which this week is a sketch bu the talented Bev Rochester, who I met at Stamperama a few weeks ago, she gave me a demo on colouring with distress inks, thanks Bev, it was lovely to meet you!

Get Funky challenge blog

Hi, my post today is 2 cards for the Funky Hand monthly challenge blog (which last month I was flattered to come in the top 5....I was so pleased...thanks Anice!!), which this month is Girls, girls, girls. The cards I amde are for an order for a friend who wanted Mother's day cards for her Mum and her partners Mum. So I though I would do the same but different colours. I also made matching envelopes for each of them.

The word books are from the new cd rom from Funky Hand which is 'dreams come true', I love making the word books.

Carols sketch fun challenge

Hope everyone is having a peaceful Sunday, its a lovely sunny but cold day here in Bedford, makes you feel so much more cheerful when the sun shines.

My card today is for my friend Carols sketch challenge which runs fortnightly and I usually like to try and enter.

I tried my hand at brayering, not too sure I was that successful to eb honest but thought the effect looked ok for a background.
